At a time when the energy transition is becoming crucial in the fight against climate change, innovation in the renewable energies sector is essential. Philippe Baudry, our CEO and that of the Artea Group, recently spoke on Mobility TV to share the vision and progress of Dream Energy, a pioneer in superchargers for electric vehicles in France.

Summary of speech

What was the vision that inspired the creation of Dream Energy?

Inspired by Jeremy Rifkin's book "The Third Industrial Revolution", the company was founded on strong convictions to revolutionize the energy sector. We have integrated the production, supply and operation of charging stations to create a sustainable, autonomous energy ecosystem.

What makes Dream Energy stand out from the crowd in energy production and supply?

Dream Energy stands out for the production of green energy thanks to its hydroelectric power stations and photovoltaic installations. This energy is then fed into the electricity grid, ensuring that the electricity used in our charging stations is 100% renewable. This approach ensures a low carbon footprint for our users' electric vehicles.

How is Dream Energy developing its network of superchargers?

We began with slow charging stations for businesses, before developing our network of superchargers. Today, we have over 40 stations, and we plan to install over 100 next year. These stations, offering 300 kW fast charging, are strategically located in France and extend into Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy.

What is the growth and impact on the market?

Dream Energy is experiencing strong growth, with projected sales of over 10 million euros this year, double the previous year's figure. We are actively recruiting to support our expansion, attracting young engineers motivated by our ecological values.

What are your future plans in terms of innovation and sustainability?

To maintain our sustainable model, we are increasing our green energy production capacity in parallel with the deployment of our supercharger stations. We anticipate continued growth in demand for electric vehicles and aim to facilitate this transition with a fast, environmentally-friendly recharging infrastructure.

Philippe Baudry says, "Things are going well for Dream Energy and we are well positioned to meet the growing demand for sustainable electric mobility. With ambitious expansion plans and a clear vision, Dream Energy continues to play a key role in Europe's energy transition.
